Forons Named My Baby

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here

Postby supaunknown » Tue Aug 28, 2007 3:46 pm

I checked the DPF member list and didn't see anyone named My Baby.

Oops, I thought you wanted us to name your baby after our favorite forons.

I'm touched, ShaneDog, I really am.

But in all mosdesty, you might consider the great time and expense drug companies go into researching names for their products. So consider:
Vanceril, Paxcil, or Cialas for a boy; Finacea, Claratin, or Lumigan for a girl. Zyrtec, or course, would work for either a boy or a girl.

My Ma's first father-in-law had two brothers - Quentin and Farnham. Can't go wrong with either of those.

Duncan is a name in my family, on the Scottish side. That's a good one.

The heroine of the Lloyd Alexander Prydain books was called Eilonwy - that's a pretty name. Gwendolyn and Isolde would be nice as well. Or you could name her Beatrice, after Dante's muse and Shakespeare's greatest female character.

If it wasn't already obvious I'm a total honky.

I suggest:

<persName>
    <foreName>Acro</foreName>
    <foreName>Nym</foreName>
    <surname>[last name]</surname>
    <roleName>Progeny of <persName>
            <foreName>Oprah</foreName>
            <surname>[last name]</surname>
        </persName>
    </roleName>
</persName>

Won't s/he have fun spelling that out for the gym teacher!
I like Duncan, too, but it always, always, makes me think of a small black Scotch Terrier

You mean General Vang Pao. Even when naming an infant you can't forget the militaristic title.

If you have twins you could name one Stu and the other Brenda, but you'd have to keep them in separate cribs.
