Do you sleep close or apart?

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here

Spooning or otherwise very close. He's hot, I'm cold, so we balance each other out. We have a queen size.

We got a king size after we....uh.....broke our queen size mattress. Since we had to do modifications to the queen size box spring to get it up the stairs we opted for a two-piece king size mattress, which fit up there with no problem. These days we do wake up fairly far apart on the thing, but I use a big pile of pillows to sleep in a semi upright position, so it makes it awkward sometimes to sleep close together. Usually we do the spoon thing for a while before one of us drops off to sleep.

I really prefer it to the early days in which we both had twin beds.

Preferred position, spooning but sometimes restlessness, snoring, and other sleep hazards get in the way of that ideal.

Sometimes together, sometimes apart, depending on how we're each feeling. That's the joy of the king-size bed.

Nay, that's the joy of separate bedrooms!

too hot and too much of a tosser to snuggle much, though the wife sleeps much better cuddled up tight.

Her boyfriend is a snuggler, so it all works out....
