Perhaps your expectations were perched precariously high. Let's review: Used Car Dealer

Choose from the following to best describe what you thought about USED CAR DEALERS before you went to Scoop Motors.

1.) Ethical
2.) Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, Reverent
3.) Capitalists with nary a scruple in sight
4.) Professionals ready to guide you to an excellent transportation value with zero concern for their financial well-being.
5.) Counselors with nothing but time for your whining, dithering

As a phallic substitute it was no Cleopatra's Needle, let me tell you. I'm not surprised he robbed your tomb of its free cheap mp3 player. DOWN WITH THE FOURTH DYNASTY!

Y'see, newbies? This is how you make a good first impression.

Indeed. *golf clap*

That would be due to many months of lurking and reading Blunt's posts.

Thanks. Sacheen Littlefeather will be accepting the award on my behalf.

How can people still be completely lost buying a used car today? The Kelley Blue Book has been around for years. It tells you what a car is worth down to its condition, options, etc. Yet, someone posts how they discovered they had paid, “too much,” for a car -- AFTER they bought it? Now you have Carfax, which literally gives you the history of the vehicle. There are even state Lemon Laws. What more do you need? And anyone who can’t handle, “high pressure salesmen,” needs to grow a pair.

Blaming a used car dealer for your uninformed decision makes you look foolish today. If you think you can get a better deal from a private seller, go for it. But remember that the only guarantee you’ll get there is no guarantee at all.

Corporations, big banks, and Wall Street have been robbing us blind for years. But I don’t see the federal government offering bailouts to used car dealers.

For you first post you resurrected a five year old discussion to complain about it.

Bravo.

 OMG! You wanted an MP3 player, so you were going to buy a car to get it, then when you didn't buy the car, you didn't get it and are mad?

Best Buy may not only be cheaper, but certainly take less than 2 hours.

Are there really still people who buy used cars from dealers? More money than sense, I suppose.

More like, "No money, no cents." The national used car dealers like Drivetime and JD Byrider are really in the business of selling loans. They put people with bad credit into cars with 20% and higher interest loans. And guess who has bad credit today? Nearly everyone.

Just wanted to see if when I fix the spelling of the topic, does it apply to future posts or just my own?

Only if you correct all spelling errors. Otherwise the robots refuse the change.

Meat, possibly.

Corrected "thieves" this time along with lying. That "persia" was a piece of work.

There. One more error on the internet fixed.
