The Dude got his rug back, but needs a ROBE - Costume HELP!

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here

The Dude got his rug back, but needs a ROBE - Costume HELP!

The Dude's robe is gone and the Dude minds! See pic for EXACTLY what I am looking for. Men's L or XL, full length, tan/beige in color, it can be ratty/well worn but not stinky and disgusting. It does not have to look exactly like the picture, but pretty close. Looking for free but will pay up to $5 if robe is in good condition/very close to what I am looking for. mercury_marine at tee dee ess dot net. Help a Dude out, man. F*ckin-A!Image

Check Goodwill. Everything (including robes) is displayed according to color scheme.
The dude abides.

I've been to ALL the resale shops for months now. Robes are not at all popular man. FYI, robes at Goodwill are regularly separated into the sleepwear section, not color coded like the rest of the stuff. Thanks for the helpful idea though!

This is the time of year lots of department stores sell Chenille Robes. I'd try Penney's or Target.

I have one like that hanging on my bathroom door.

Sorry, it's not for sale, got it at Lands' End for about $12.

I was gonna say Lands' End, but try all those big boxes and mall places too.

LE! I hadn't thought of that, despite the fact that I worked there for years. Maybe i'll swing by the LE Inlet and the Target next to each other on the far West side. Thanks for that idea! Is that the LE where you found yours or the catalog?

If I don't find one by Tuesday can I borrow yours for 1 night for $5? It won't get dirty. I'll wash it up nice the next day just to be certain. I'll pickup and drop it off. You can make a copy of my ID. Whatever.

Sir, this is not a rental house.

(You do know you're on a forum full of people who love to quote The Big Lebowski, don't you?)

Let msnflyer answer the question posed, not you mrak-interloper. And yes, everybody quotes TBL despite the fact that it is not chock full of choice quotables even by Coen Bros. standards (the benchmark being Raising Arizona). Even Real Genius has far more juicy one-liners than TBL. Peace and stuff and things.

Oops. I clearly mistook your original post (and your choice of costumes) as evidence that you may have a functioning sense of humor.

My bad.

Got it at LE on State St. Sorry, I've never been one to lend or borrow clothes, must come from having to wear hand-me-downs during my formative years. I don't let the peas touch the potatoes on my plate either. Where the hell is Dr. Phil when you need him?!?

Good luck!
