I have wondered about this place for YEARS. It is obviously a 60's type intentional community, complete with a colorful sign, VW buses, painted school buses, gardens, rustic looking lawn, etc.
It's the off of 14 near where Rimrock joins up with Syenve road. A tan older farmhouse, up ono a little hill.
I'm just really intrigued. The sign says something like South Gardens Cooperative.
Is it a commune? A CSA?
Whatever it is, I am wondering if it is the longest running intentional community in Madison.
