If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here

Why don't you bring him some binoculars to look through some afternoon? He might get a kick out of it.

I've been through this -- there are all different ways to pass the time with demented people and it can be enjoyable once you give up trying to make sense and just go with it.

You probably know that you aim at goodness.
Thank you for habitually bringing it.

You know it's been a long winter when going out to do yard work puts a gigantic smile on your face.

I was working near the scene of the E Wash stabbings yesterday. I didn't know we had that many cops on one shift in the whole city. Would have been a great time to rob a bank.

I've had a pizzazz pizza oven for 10 years.

One of the best investments I've ever made.

I wonder how it would have faired on Shark Tank.

I've seen a doctor about 5 times in the past ten years, yet when I took a new job and had a three month wait for my new insurance to kick in, suddenly I needed to see a doctor.

Should I pay the $400 for COBRA or wait it out? My foot hurts. I either sprained a toe (or three) or I have a stress fracture.

Our healthcare system sucks ass.

If you do not take COBRA to fill the gap - are you subject to fines under ACA?
Our healthcare delivery system sucks ass,
And we are very good at being taught away from that which is more efficient for most people. ACA is a boon for the health insurance industry - boondoggle'ish & perhaps marginally better for US citizens.

They won't do anything if you have a stress fracture except tell you to lay off running for a while. Don't waste your money.

They won't do anything at all if you have a sprain, except maybe tell you to put heat or ice or something on it. You can figure out what helps without paying someone hundreds of dollars.

Some stuff is worth doctoring but this doesn't sound like an example.

I agree our healthcare system is no good, of course.

Peej I agree with Sno regarding the foot but I would still consider the COBRA benefits in case something catastrophic happens to you while you're waiting for the other insurance to kick in.

I have a pair of crutches you are welcome to. I think there is a very big crutch racket in healthcare.

Thanks for the offer, bdog, but I have crutches and even a fracture boot from my ice-flailing escapade last winter. My right foot swells, hurts in the toes (middle three, I think) and then after my days off feels better but goes back to hurting after I'm on it for a day or two.

I get my switch from Dean to Unity next month, so I'm tempted to just let it slide, but it's a real bummer with nice weather hitting to be laid up on my days off trying to rest my foot.

Mostly what irks me is that I very rarely have cause to see a doctor. Until I can't. Then I need one.

These results from an alleged bug in a Netflix app are hilarious.

A Netflix app is glitching and creating weird new films we wish were real

A couple of examples:

Funny, lots of women wear leggings or tight pants. Guys are still loose.

No men in tights...

If I wore tights it would be incredibly difficult to trick a woman into a night of completely forgettable sex.

Since I hate tight clothes, if I was a guy I'd probably wear boxers!

My dad wore boxers and fathered seven children. My four brothers all wore briefs and total children spawned was two. Hmmm...
