Someone is building a house on S. Marquette st in a recently vacated lot that backs up to Kipp. How long before they start complaining about the noise?

I don't know what surprises me more. That someone is building there after all the bad press, or that Kipp didn't just buy the lot to keep it empty.

Vodka has taste. It depends from what it is made., So I think that's why the price for each one is different.

Nothing more annoying than giving a list of choices and getting yes as a response.

well... no there are many things more annoying, but not at this specific moment

I've only just realized how much I hate Larry the Cable Guy. I thought I just didn't think he was funny but now I find myself grabbing desperately for the remote when one of his commercials comes on.

My 11-month-old daughter just spent ten minutes trying to insert the power plug on a dead printer into the headphones jack on a dead amplifier. I think a career in IT support is in her future.

I've always used "by accident" as the opposite of "on purpose".

My (teenage) daughter still says "on accident" rather than "by accident". I thought she'd grow out of it but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I never heard anybody say "on accident" when I was growing up. Is it a new thing? Or maybe it's a Midwesternism? (I grew up in the northeast, my daughter spent her first decade in Wisconsin).

I'm getting flamed on Facebook about comments I made on someone's recipe. If you call yourself "Chef in Training" don't post recipes composed of cool whip, pudding mix, graham crackers, and Heath bars. That's not cooking, it's a chemical mash.

My Wisconsin raised kids say 'on' accident and have since elementary school (over my mild objections) I keep trying to find a reason for it to be wrong but I guess it really isn't any worse than 'by' accident. (We all say "on purpose')

(Cool whip, pudding mix, graham crackers and Heath bars sounds like just what I'd like for breakfast today, but I'll have to settle for pudding mix, coconut milk and bananas)

Why does one drive a car, but ride a bicycle? Shouldn't it be just the opposite?

WHO are the kids jumping into the traffic lane on N. Sherman Ave. and why do they yell at motorists who honk to get their attention?

I think that blocking traffic is sometimes a way for society's members who feel powerless or unheard to make themselves significant. Of course that plan can go horribly wrong sometimes...

I vote for by accident and on purpose, as a lifelong Wisconsinite. I'm not even sure I ever heard "on accident." Maybe it's a generational thing.

What about people who say they have to wait "on line" (like to mail a package at the post office)? That's in line. On line is, like, don't bother talking to me, I am on line right now.

Don't get me started about people who say they graduated college.
