Post 'em if you got 'em.

I resolve to stop posting in anger. Crap, that one's gonna bite me in the ass, I just know it.

Dream good.
Work more and better.
Wake up and fight.

More of Woody Guthrie's 1942 resolutions here

Get out of the U.S. while the getting is good. By this time next year, I'll be living overseas somewhere, teaching at an international school, or at a regular NZ school.

I'm resolving to risk everything in the resistance movement that will come in the wake of the rise of the new Robber Barrons.

Galoot, why are you certain things will be better outside the US? This looks like a global collapse to me.

rabble, I don't think there won't be a collapse all over the world, I just think the response in the U.S. will be particularly scary. It is already.

Keep all the receipts from my debit card transactions.

I try this every year and it lasts until about Jan. 15.

I wish I could say I was moving to Canada but I'm not quite there yet. Could be soon if things keep going the way they're going. This is ridiculous. I didn't sign up for any right wing totalitarian country.

I recommend Victoria, B.C. Weather better than Madison and great local IPAs. And that's just the start.

Advice for keeping your New Year's resolutions

"People say they're going to eat less or they're going to stop smoking or they're going to stop drinking. One of the reasons it's hard to do that is now you're replacing this behavior with no behavior. So what you need to do is replace a habit with some other behavior."

I think New Years Resolutions usually fail BUT I always make them. It's like a fresh start to get things going in the right direction.

Nothing wrong with creating a few goals. They do need to be realistic or you won't last two weeks.

Also, hoping that all forons have a safe, successful, and HAPPY New Year. Life can be tough. Believe and invest in yourself. And love is always important.

That won't last. In 3 weeks you'll be making resolutions left and right.
