I expected Corporate Weird but the above caught me short. The Library of Congress subject headings offer no insight. Someday I'll check with the Googe ...

I'm a librarian, and I'm not sure what you're asking; inanimate LOC subject headings didn't stand a chance. Good luck with Google though.

Can you really blame them? It is a multibillion dollar a year business. All you really need is something average and you can make several hundred-thousand dollars.
