Homemade popsicles?

Give us your best concoction.

I've never tried, but considering a hot dog / orange juice combo.

I've tried rootbeer in icecube trays in the past. I hope someone prints how to get that crystal consistency a real popsicle has.

I hope I can find a package of all banana again.

Strawberry yogurt and banana pudding with butterscotch chips.

Don't ask me why it works... I still haven't figured that out myself yet... but oh man!

I hope I'm feeding a troll here, here's something for you to try:

Boil the dogs (preferably high fat in natural casings) 10 min, reserve hot dog water.

Coursely chop dogs and transfer to cookie sheet then place in freezer.

Get some of those popsicle forms you see around the frozen juice case you see at Woodmans, and grab a can of frozen orange concentrate while you there.

Now you want to pack a 1 cup blender container (puts a lot of force on frozen concoctions, look for them at farm and fleet) with 1/3 c frozen dog and 1/3 frozen orange concentrate, then top off with just about a 1/3 c of hot dog water. Cap this off with the blade and ring then purée until "smooth". Fill and freeze your popsicle forms. Bon appetite!

This site has a few home made Popsicle recipes.

I got a cheap popsicle mold at Walgreens for a buck. Not great. Next payday I'll spring for one one that has separate molds and a tray.
