Apple WWDC 08

Wiis, PlayStations, iPads, blogging platforms, Facebook and anything else worthy of buzz in the digital world.

I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the iButt-Plug. Finally an Apple product you antsy fanboys can jam up your asses without first being asked by someone who finds your priorities pathetic, misplaced and annoying.

Page 2 of the thread and we get the first iDouchebag response. I'm a little disappointed.

I honestly tried, but all I could manage was a few back-handed compliments.

I never understand why the moment someone says "hey, that looks kinda neat..." about an apple product, someone immediately makes a rude comment about you being an apple fanboy.

I've never seen anyone called a RIM fanboy for liking the blackberry.

I've never seen anyone called a microsoft fanboy for liking vista. That might be because nobody likes vista, though.

I'd like a new iPhone. I've been carrying an HTC Faraday/2125 running Windows Smartphone for 2 years and it's...okay, but the interface is irritating and unfriendly.

I do need a new phone though, and I want GPS badly, so I've been looking at the Pearl. I have read that you can install open source stuff on it without too much trouble, so I'll have to keep looking into that.

The Pearl does not have GPS, you have to get a Blue Tooth "puck" to have true GPS. You can, however, download Google Maps and get Google Earth on your Pearl.

I use google maps on my palm. its rare that I get so lost that I need a device to show me exactly where on a map I am.
