I don't make a habit of picking up newsprint, but this article in yesterday's paper seemed... familiar:

Then I realized I'd written one like it months ago.

Alright, maybe a slight more detailed than my account, but I had no aim of reporting the event when I got up that morning. Still the tone of the article is virtually the same, right down to the admittedly smug "I'm famous!" close. Different scene, different location, same article.
