Trekkie Question

Postby Bwis53 » Sun Nov 15, 2009 10:24 am

In which movie did Spock comment that Kirk's promotion to Admiral was a "waste of talent"? And what was the exact quote? I've tried to google it and can't find it.

And Dr. McCoy expresses a taste for illegal Romulan ale, which he only uses for "medicinal purposes".

Legalize Medicinal Romulan Ale!

Hmmm, that was Bones talking to Kirk about galaxy hopping, instead of a fake console. I wonder if maybe it was the very first one. I recall Spock's words:a sheer waste of talent. Am I wrong?

I tried to avoid these guys but resistance was futile.

I think this is the best you're going to find, Bwis.

First the Bones scene and then the spock scene are in Khan. (I have it on my DVR). Kirk's middle age crisis is one of the central themes in Khan

As was Khan's appreciation of fine Corinthian leather.
