DIGIBOT / Grandstand / The Dammitheads - Fri 1/6/06 @ Klinic

Got a gig coming up? A CD coming out? A new bass player who looks like Jesus and smells like a field of posies? If you're selling or promoting something, post it here.

How funky is the 'Bot?

Everyone who skipped this show may surrender their Madcity Rock Credentials to participating outlets in exchange for a polka-dot skirt with bloomers and an oversized lolli. Ignorant pussies ...

Digibot is the only really relevant band in Madison. I was drunk when I first said it, but I stand by that statement.

Thanks folks. It was a lot of fun. We were pretty rusty & out of sorts up there at times. It was BM's birthday that night. He now has a stinky pinky in the grave. The Klinic always seems to leave me hot & smiling but what's up with them no longer offering bands free shitty beer? C'mon!

I enjoyed some of the Paul Westerbergish shiny guitar stylings of two-piece Dammitheads (check out their fancy website). They need a bass player imo. It was like good songs two-thirds complete.

Grandstand was 100% pure meth'ed sugar. They layed down the gauntlet with high energy and well played guitars. A-one and a-two and a-ONE-TWO-THREE-GO!
