Television Shows You Want To See Released On DVD

How can cultural elitists like ourselves put TV in the Culture category? Well, where the hell else is it going to fit?

Postby dstol62 » Wed Apr 25, 2007 9:51 pm

Back in '72, there was a campy TV show about ghosts and the supernateral, called "Ghost Story", later retitled "Circle Of Fear". Below is the imdb listing:

Don't get me wrong, Traylor Howard was hot too, which can now of course be seen on Monk as Monk's Assistant.

The first season of Drew Carey just came out about a week ago, if you were referring to it as something that hasn't been released on DVD yet.

I watched this; it was pretty scary for an 8 year old. As was Kolchack a couple years later.

I probably watched B.J. & the Bear as a kid too. I mean really, who doesn't want a chimp for a sidekick?

You mean 'Get A Life' with Chris Elliot? I still have the final episode on video tape. It's hilarious.

Which Outer Limits are we talking about here? Left hanging by 'the new series' having released season one in 2005 and never following it up with subsequent seasons? What a shitty thing for MGM to do to fans of the show.

Past seasons of The Real World would be cool on DVD.

I think vegas is the only one available now.

I just found out that a show that I forgot about which ran from 1982-1983 was released July 17 on DVD.
A pre-cursor to future time-travel shows like Quantum Leap, Voyagers! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voyagers! (copy & paste link with exclamation point).

The early eighties Saturday morning cartoon Saturday Supercade, which was based on golden age video-game arcade characters, has never been officially released on VHS or DVD :(
