Which is the nicest dog park in Madison?

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here

Yes there is a drinking fountain with two steel dog dished tied to it. Near the entrance by the tennis courts

Quann does provide bags, but they are sometimes out, just like other parks, I assume.

Ah!!! What's the blue thingy in the background?

I think it's a flatbed scanner.

Am I the only one who is still drawn to the back half of that fine Wheaton Terrier bitch even after expanding the picture and despite the allure of the blue thingy in the background?

Why would you scan a big truck?

To see if it was speeding.

Odd that it's at dog level - does the dog have scanner skills?

narcoleptish, my dog had the same problem with mounting every dog in sight. Yes, it is just a dominance thing, and my dog has turned it into a fight on a few occasions.

I took him to Trish McConnell's pet shrink business, and saw one of her proteges. It didn't take long to train my dog to stop the mounting. The best tip I got was to use the silent treatment. When my dog really went over the line, I went "HMMPPH!!" to him (apparently dogs understand this, even though you might not), snapped on the leash, and headed straight to the car.

Once home, I ignored him for nearly 2 hours. It drove him nuts, and it only took a couple of silent treatments before he knew that he couldn't do that again.

Oh, and I vote for the Verona park. I do wish they'd provide some porta-johns out there, though.

I have been tempted to try the Church that was built nearby.... stupid building built in the middle of no where so everyone has to drive. Grrrr.

Thanks Galoot, I will remember that if I give the parks another try.
