Your cold weather drink is...

Postby jjoyce » Wed Jan 14, 2009 2:39 pm

For whatever reason, my cold weather drink is similar to my warm weather drink: George Dickel whiskey and ginger ale.

I'll admit to scotch, neat, way more often in January than in July and I'm partial to extremely cold canned beer in the summer months, but it's George & Ginger's all year round.

Whisky/ey, Macallan Scotch, Jameson Irish.

Winter beers are good too.

I was enjoying the shit out of the Mojitos at Jade Monkey last weekend. Made me feel all summery and warm on the inside. They couldn't make them as fast as I could suck them down however.

My favorite cold weather drink has to be Tom & Jerry's. I like to make my own batter when I get on a kick instead of buying it in those little tubs. I usually only use one shot of spiced rum instead of a shot each of brandy and rum. Top it all off with a dash of nutmeg - mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I'm there with whiskey as well.
Bourbon or a fine Tennessee sipping.
Rowan's Creek is the current favorite.
