Have you considered going through the application process? Forum comments don't count for shit for any publication. You have to make a real-world effort.

Contact information for the job is right here. Who among us will trawl the forum for blunt's greatest hits and email in his stead? Should we accompany the snippets with a petition?

blunt edited his post, he's now leaning towards accepting the position. He has reconsidered his need to spend more time with his family.

My first choice for the job would be Roland Burris, that guy has a real twinkle in his eye. But if the people demand blunt, the people must be heard.

If for no other reason, you can't waste that tag line I came up with on the first page. You're really not going to get anything better than that. You can use it, you have my permission. I don't want any money. REally, nothing. Buy me a drink sometime. It only took a minute. I'm clever, it just comes naturally.

Wow. I appreciate all the support.
And no bribes were exchanged!
Isthmus knows where to find me if they want me.
Audition for Dr. Ramora's twin?
I was Dr. Ramora!

I can't wait for tomorrow's Isthmus to see if I've written anything!

MAYBE WE CAN!

Nope. We need to let Blunt be Blunt in his element.

No need to trawl, let's get Isthmus a fresh sample.

Surely someone here needs advice - ask for it now and let Blunt be Blunt!

So what happened to Mr. Right?
Career change? Depart for a larger market?

The synchronicity is delicious:
I just got asked the same question at Walgreens:
"So why did you quit?"
.....?!
For the THIRD time in the last few years within this particular sociobioillogical paranickle ---
I have been mistaken for Kent Williams.

Which is yet another glowing qualification.

The feeling I got from reading the various published remarks last week was, "laid off due to budget constraints."

But I'm not in the loop on this-- someone feel free to correct me.

I thought the old Mr. Right was pretty bad. I'm sure Blunt can more than fill those tiny shoes, even if he is a tad light in the loafers.

Go for it Blunt - a nation turns its lonely eyes to you. If you don't take up the challenge, the terrorists win.
