An extremely appropriate response, I suppose.

Unless I pretend to like "Weekend at Bernie's 1 and 2", "Mannequin 1 and 2", Teen Wolf 1 and 2", I'm afraid I've got nothing...

Ok, last try... the Al Adamson film, "Black Samurai" starring Jim Kelly

This might be more a case of "Movies nobody but you appears to have ever heard of," but:

The Survivors, starring Robin Williams and Walter Matthau.

Fair enough...but in my defense, Jim Kelly does play a significant supporting role in the film Enter the Dragon...so kung fu buffs (which admittedly I'm the furthest thing from one) just might recognize the reference as I believe Black Samurai was his first leading film role.

Nonetheless, I feel defeated by this thread.

No, no, I meant Survivors was one nobody's heard of. When I worked at the public library in Appleton some 8 years ago, there wasn't a single library in the state that owned a copy of it.

Ahhh...makes sense after rereading your post - just in a definsive mood I guess -

Anyway, when you say "Survivors" for some reason I thought I knew exactly what movie you were talking about...until I realized I was getting it confused with "The Volunteers" starring John Candy and Tom Hanks. Gonna have to look that up and see if I'm just imagining having watched it...

The Razor's Edge with Bill Murray. Seriously, I liked it.

I've certainly heard of The Survivors... it was a staple on The Movie Channel back in the day. But like it? No.

Here's a candidate: Not a great movie by any means, but I've always had a fondness for Pass The Ammo that no one else seems to share. And I think There's Nothing Out There is the best horror spoof I've ever seen, but the only people I know who've seen it are those I've shown it to, and none of them liked it.

It's "Volunteers", not with the The, if I remember right and you did not imagine watching it. I was going to drop that one but was beaten to the punch. My college roommates and I watched that one over and over. We always howled when George Plimpton tells Hanks he'll have to get a walker.

The Razor's Edge with Murray...liked that one too, and led me to read Somerset Maughm's books.

How about King of Comedy?

Or Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer starring Michael Rooker? Super creepy and awesome.

Loved both of these movies. With a few exceptions, this thread consists of movies I'd watch without a moment's hesitation.

"Blood In, Blood Out"

Lots of cheesy dialogue and acting, received poor reviews for the most part - For what this movie is lacking, I couldn't keep myself from not finishing it and I quite enjoyed it. Also, there are a few random cameos by actors who went on to bigger and better things (Ving Rhames, Billy Bob Thorton). I don't know of anyone else who like this.

I can't seem to turn off Stranded when it's on. I wish all mission to Mars movies were this bad/good.

Event Horizon. Don't know why I like I just do

Idiocracy. Don't see why anyone wouldn't like this movie. Clever concept. Infinitely quotable.
