Not sure if that's what you want to hear, but hey.

:D Thanks snoqueen.

Sure that's what you say now, but next time you leave in such a huff. Please, don't let the door hit your butt on the way out.

Hmmmm....looks like we're getting to that point (again).

Just goes to show you - even the most respected poster here sometimes has no clue what they're talking about.

No offense Sno, just an observation.

No activity on Local Politics and Government for four days.
I'd say the answer is, "yes."
And given the nature of some of these postings, entirely understandable.

Two days later, still no new activity in local politics and government folder.

You know, there's always the possibility that that's a good sign.

Yes, it is the slow end of summer days when the thoughts of people are elsewhere, but I think Mr Levitan's concern about the apathy of local political issues is not without merit.

Another factor may be where people choose to start topics. I have seen some threads started on In The News, for example, that would also fit into Local Politics. Personally, I think everything related to Blaska and the Southwest side quality of life issues could have gone there. I think it's a political issue, and to some extent is being used to weaken the mayor, protect the incumbent alder, and perhaps pick up a county board seat for the law and order conservative crowd. That is higher on Blaska's agenda than actually solving problems, in my opinion.

One of the slowest weeks I can remember. I'm trying to throw up some new posts but there isn't even anything to comment on. Except how slow it is.
