You'd be a fool not to. Especially if it helps net you free movies for a year at Sundance.

I'm in to win.

Any chance we might get a privacy policy for entering the contest?

So anybody get them all?
I passed up the chance to take the quiz. I think at most I would've gotten 4 out of 6. I was having a hard time predicting the best supporting actress and best actress categories.

I don't remember who I picked. Seems like I got supporting actors right. Those may have been the most obvious though.

How anyone could have been even slightly confused about the Best Actress category is beyond me. Mo'Nique's performance was the bomb...better than Bridges, Bullock, Walz and Streep combined. Wow.

11 got all six categories correct, which is pretty good.

Mo'nique was, of course, the winner for best SUPPORTING actress.

I was too cynical and picked Avatar to win. I didn't get best actress right either - I had picked the Precious girl to win that. I did get supporting right for both actor and actress but those were obvious choices. Was foreign film in this contest? I got that wrong too as I picked The White Ribbon which was the only one I had heard of. Anyway, congratulations to the winners.

What were the 6 categories? (I didn't enter; didn't seem right.)

The four acting categories, best picture, and...director? If so, I would have been 4 of 6. I gambled on an upset switcheroo for Precious, and picked Gabourey Sidibe to win Best Actress over Sandra Bullock and Vera Farmigia to win Best Supporting Actress over Mo'Nique. I got English Patiented. I should know better to not pick against the tide.

It didn't help that I haven't seen any of the movies up for best actress/supporting categories.
And what was up with Mo'Nique's acceptance speech? "Thanks to the Academy for showing me it's about the performance and not about the politics." Gimme a break.

I forgot that thedailypage had to throw the wild card best foreign film category in there. Of which this years films most have never even heard of, let alone seen.

It's the four acting ones, best picture and foreign. Usually, that's enough to whittle the field to three or four, max. 11 is unheard of in my tenure, which goes back to the days of hand-counting paper entries.

Saw on Facebook that Marcus had a similar quiz going for an annual pass to Marcus Theatres. Someone from the Madison area (Stoughton) happened to win that one as well.
For the Marcus quiz you had to get 20 of 24 categories right! Four people guessed them all and one was randomly chosen for the annual pass.
