Crack in Loredo’s chimichanga’s

Where are you eating and what do you think? What's opening, closing, succeeding, failing?

Crack in Loredo’s chimichanga’s

Eastsiders. Does Loredo’s have the best chimi’s or what!? I’d pay a buck more for a remodel but as is, I need a chimi fix twice a month. Love that brown sauce they put on it! Gotta respect their fajita’s also. Critic’s: I’m talking great taste for a helluva good price here.
Vs. Pedro’s… Loredro’s any time.

Ah, the 10pm Saturday night drunk post.

The apostrophes! The sign-off! "That brown sauce"!

Critic's: Is the east side Laredo's better than the west side location?

IMHO Taco Bell is better than the west side Laredos.

Loredos is not very good in my opinion. El Pastor, La Mestiza, Mirimar, and I would have to say even Casa de Lara are all far superior.

Have you ever had the Chimi from Burrito Drive. That is actually pretty damn good as well.

Used to order the burritos from there, but ever since my wife ordered the chimi one time and I tried it, I'm a convert. Great chimi.

I also like their Tijuana Hot Dog. Awesome all-beef dog that amazingly can withstand being delivered. The key is the hard roll it's served on. And the dirty-sounding name.

I'd like to speak up for Tex Tubb's Taco Palace's chimichangas - they go beyond delicious and I love them.

Jes Book, you’re a harsh reviewer of a reviewer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the extra apostrophes, ………………………………less seems, well, ya know, just rude. Had two more tonight(( chimichanga’’s)) after a fight with my partner over starting our chain-saw. They, were’ STILL great! (and brown) (burp) . Taco bell is also good M.H.O.!!!!
I will try try Tex Tubb’s again sometime but that sauce bar was kinda weird. Other than that it was good. Loving tex-mex, I must admit I have not tried Burrito Drive and miss Tumbleweeds. That makes me hopeless eh?

That reminds me of Rob Matsushita's Sledgehammer Party play at Broom Street a few years back.

I don't think Laredo's is good at all. The food is edible, and that's about it.

La Mestiza, in my opinion, has the best Mexican food around.

I would like to second la mestiza and also mention taqueria guanajuato at midvale and the beltline. With options like these, I visit Laredos.....umm ..never. But what do I know? Laredos stays in the business (multiple locations) and seems busy when I'm around there, so my tastebuds must not be with the mainstream.

LOVE the chicken chimi from BD, with lots of pico and crema. Mmmmmmm.

As for Laredo's, the Sopa de Mi Cocina es muy fantastico, and filling enough that you don't need an entree.

I've been craving Antojitos el Toril for a few weeks, love their tacos.

I've yet to have most other Mexican in town, but it's become apparent that I should remedy that.

I will concur with the enjoyability factor of Burrito Drive, but they are far from authentic. But definitely good Mexi-American delivery grub. La Mestiza has good authentic Mexican and for honest to goodness authentic Mexican go to Taqueria Guadalajara. I haven't been to La Hacienda since their labor troubles, but they had really good Mexican the last time I was there.
