Anyone planning to see Inception?

Postby Remember_Me » Thu Jul 08, 2010 5:17 pm

The HD trailers look pretty good. And the reviews seem to be mostly positive. Anyone going?

Might catch it on DVD, but doesn't interest me enough to pay to see it in a theatre. More into character-driven dramas here. Have really gotten tired of all the blow-em-up, over the top action crap, it's gotten old for me.

I'll go see anything by Christopher Nolan...in IMAX is all the better!

yeah, with how great my tv is these days, i usually try to go to real movie movies in a theater, and inception would seem to fit the bill.
character based dramas and comedies translate perfectly onto my flatscreen.
having said that, i saw PLEASE GIVE at sundance last night and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I saw it last night on the IMAX and it was good. Very beautifully filmed so I was glad I paid the extra for the giant screen. Christopher Nolan's movies just keep getting better. I did have some issues with how the dream world was presented but this was a very minor thing that would only bother me. The layers of story and the well-thought out character design made this worth seeing, especially in an otherwise dull summer of sequels and remakes.

Saw it last night, had a great time, non-imax. word to the wise, now that star cinema has gotten out of the clutches of kerasotes and is in the loving arms of amc, ALL shows including night time during the week are five bucks!
Anyway, very engrossing movie... maybe not as thought provoking or lingering as it pretends to be but plenty of fun while you're watching.

Movie was awesome.
But they played about 20 minutes worth of trailers and commercials beforehand. Made the movie experience way longer than it was. Sigh.
