Doomed restaurants

Where are you eating and what do you think? What's opening, closing, succeeding, failing?

A hearty thanks to everyone.

Just want to say thank you to everyone who posted. I got an immense laugh while reading all of it. I've been out of high school quite awhile but it is nice to see that the actions and values of immature teenagers are still alive and well.

Just have to love the "You're a jerk", "Am not, you're a jerk", "You're stupid and so are your opinions", "No you're stupid and your opinons are dumb" banter of what I can only assume is that of actual grown adults.

It really is the open mindedness of the citizens of this great nation that make this country wonderful. Once again bravo and thank you for a hearty laugh. I laughed until there were tears and I think I might have even peed a little.

I have opened myself up... have at it.

That Mickey D's on East Wash by Hwy 30 is doomed. I hear it's sign is obscured by a Madison/hippy/progressive/liberal/elitist/b.s./bicycle/Mayor Dave/socialist/walking path bridge for welfare recipients and bureaucrats. Legend has it no one knows where that McDonald's is any more which has led to 20% unemployment. It probably is part of a left wing conspiracy to make everybody eat at Burger King. This is definitely Obama's fault so, I blame Feingold and that is why everybody should vote for Ron Johnson.

I want to know more if the restaurants are getting too doomed. What are the causes into this problem? They said that it was on the failed of service and the foods.

The obesity epidemic is real. Any restaurant built more than 3 years ago is doomed. The entrances are no longer large enough. Simply stated, the customers are now too fat to enter the establishment.

They should serve Ron Johnson at Full of Bull, because it would be appropriate. Just so they are both doomed.

So I know that whereof I speak, hypothetically.

I've heard from several sources the eastside Pedro's is not doing well and there is a good chance it will close by spring. The building (owned by Jim Martini) is all but vacant, except for Pedro's and 1 other business. This, coupled with the construction and tons of competition (Lazy Oaf, Erin’s Snug, Ale Asylum, 1855) has drained them of there business.
It’s too bad, it is a fun place and has been a staple of the east side since the “Left End.” Hopefully I’m wrong…

Motion seconded. To call their offerings "pedestrian" would be an insult to bipedal creatures the globe over.

And there's no lack of outlets for syrupy, high-fructose, day-glow green margaritas in the burg, so I've really never understood the appeal.

I don't know if they still have it but I can tell you the appeal for me when I was a student.....$5.00 for chili in an edible bowl and a soda. I'm not singing their praises; I'm just sayin'.

If that's the case, maybe Visions could finally get the new location they've been looking for? They could take over that whole strip mall doubling their size!
