"Why, yes, yes I am. I've advanced many windbag initiatives, have facilitated strategic coordination with other windbags, and have consistently implemented windbag methodologies."

"Excellent. You're hired."

+ 1 for Ducatista. She's got that urban flair/rare form in her posts. Mucho gusto!

Aw, c'mon. Everyone knows I am not the best of the Forum - I'm more like an ideal middle. If everyone hit the same mixture of sincere and asshole that I do, this Forum would be tremendous.

It was the combo between you and Leaver.

However, I also nominate the following:

Pretty much any Hype thread where rr, Leaver, Walter, and any of the Motors/z appear is bound to make me wish I was in on the joke. Because even from the other side of the windowpane, the stuff is mighty funny.

I did that. When UL was Chuck Schick and in the New Recruits, I went up to one of his bandmates during a sound check at the High Noon and asked for him. His first response was: "Are you going to hit him?"

After talking to "Chuck" I found out he's a real nice guy. But so am I.

Oh, I've met a few of 'em. Good fellows, all. But it's an orbit I only intersect with occasionally. These guys are spinning way faster than I could catch up.

Lord, I'd forgotten all about that. I'll be recuperating from surgery/whining for more ice cream for the next week, however, so an appearance is unlikely. Next one, fer sher.
