While stopping under the Contention Center terrace due to road construction on J Nolen , I got a good look at that mural. Or at least whatever one can see of it.

I don't think I've ever used the little front pocket on jeans.

I've put a key in that pocket, and then completely forgot where it is.

Went to the La Fete de Marquette last night. When will Madison outdoor summer festival organizers realize that there are a lot of people who just want a light sissy beer on a hot summer night? Supper Club is almost that beer but another choice would be nice. I am not alone in this thought.

I could sit here all day, sipping coffee, watching the world go by. What was that?

I've also campaigned for a water fountain at La Fete in the past, to no avail.

Oh man. One of my favorite things about Madison is taking a week day, camp out in a coffee shop window with a book or a copy of Isthmus or The Onion, and watch people on State Street.

Can we find a way to conceal all the concealed/carry threads, and maybe throw in those 3 year old Town Vibe Rules threads. Stuff gets old.

Shouldn't those tiny "Smart" cars be cheaper and get better gas mileage than they do?

Why is winning viewed as so much more important than doing what is right?

My watch was running at 1:58 P.M. It died at approximately 2:20 P.M. I just so happened to be at Hilldale. Within minutes the handy dandy watch repair man at Wolf Kubly installed a new battery. If only more things could be so easy!

The passenger side window in my 19-year-old Acura failed....in the down position of course. Both the passenger switch and the driver control switch were just plain dead.

So today, at a stop light, my wife tries it again. Nada. I try mine. It goes up!

It's going to stay up forever now. Maybe there is something to this prayer thing.

I made it to 2:53pm today before realizing my boxers were on backwards.

The very first thing that broke after I bought my current truck was the window motor. I think it's the first vehicle I've owned with power windows. Previously I had never had a manual crank fail in a dozen vehicles. Ahh progress..
