Nile, Odana Road

Where are you eating and what do you think? What's opening, closing, succeeding, failing?

based on my own experiences and those of others, the Nile is going downstream fast. I don't condemn restaurants based on one bad experience. But there haven't been a lot of positives coming out of there - other than it's former Lulus employees, but I can't eat that.

I have been to Nile, the food is marginal in quality, one time I was driving through the lot and I saw the guy I know to be the owner, hunkering down right in front of the restaurant during dinner service, on the edge of the curb smoking a cigarette - very poor form.

Holy smoke, I'm scandalized! Have we really gotten this puritanical?

I imagine there are a lot of elegant restaraunts in France with the head chef grabbing a puff out in the alley - like, say, 100% of them.

No shit. If this bothers you, then for God sake don't take a peak into the kitchen.
