Get your thinking caps off, this is all about the gut. What band names moved you to laughter, tears, revulsion or sexual arousal .

They don't exactly move me, but I've always liked:

The Verve Pipe
Southern Culture on the Skids
The The
They Might Be Giants
Stereolab

And a few local favorites:

Headpump
P'elvis
The Runners-Up
(I'd add Steely Dane, but it's not really a band, is it?)

I think Blunt had a second band in the 90's called "rectal drip". I always thought that name had a certain je ne sais quoi

Reminds me of "The Average White Band" from 70's, cute name for pasty funksters.

A friend of mine had an all sausage band that played one show in a barn in the 80s. They all wore T-shirts with the Braille characters for the letters S, E, and D.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I offer:

Helen Keller and the Seeing Eye Dogs.

Cribshitter is a good one.

Spin Doctors, not the most creative, but overall a great band name. Unfortunately I hate the actual band that used it.
