When is Madison halloween for kids?

When is Madison halloween for kids? I don't see trick or treat schedules for Madison on channel3000 or the Isthmus.

This is so sad.
Trick-or-treating when there's even a glimmer of daylight is just wrong.

There's something wrong about having official halloween times. Does house egging period commence with conclusion of trick-or-treat hours?

Where have you guys been for the last ten or fifteen years? I didn't like it either when it started but my complaints got old, even for me, about 1995.

By the Energy Policy Act of 2005, daylight saving time (DST) was extended in the United States in 2007. DST starts on the second Sunday of March and it ends on the first Sunday of November. These changes result in a DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years. In 2008 daylight saving time ended at 2:00 AM (0200) on Sunday, November 2, and in 2009 it began at 2:00 AM (0200) on Sunday, March 8. Wyoming Senator Michael Enzi and Michigan Representative Fred Upton advocated the extension from October into November especially to allow children to go trick-or-treating in more daylight.

Most working people are not yet home at 4. We rarely see any kids before 5:30 and turn off the light at 8

Even sadder than trick or treating in the daylight is Trunk or Treating, which I had never heard of until recently.

New move at the house this year: adults carrying multiple bags claiming to collect for "little ones in the car."

Uhh.....

The kids are entitled to the candy, even if someone else does the work required to get it.

Sounds like typical Madison liberals to me.

No, part of the fun is seeing the kids costumes and talking with the little ones.

Sounds like someone who never had the chance to be "liberal" ... or someone who never worked hard enough to understand what that means.
