Victory Coffee gets a brick through its window.

What are the things that puzzle, enrage, delight and tickle you as you go about your life in Madison?

Let history be the judge.

Not a good idea Hank:

"Conservative dirty tricks": 849,000 hits
"Liberal dirty tricks": 857,000 hits

I take it back, that IS a good idea.

About evenly split on conservatives and liberals being total douchebags.

That seems about right.

Scuse me? Are you saying two statements are both true if they have approximately equal numbers of hits on google?

Hey dude, I'm just playing by Henry's rules:

History = google hits!

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought the game was to actually look at some of the links. My bad.

"someone else" claimed conservatives wouldn't do dirty tricks. I proved him wrong. Then bdog went off on a tangent.

Seriously? This jerk is stealing tips from his minimum wage employees to fix a window when he has business insurance to cover it. Wow, that's lame. I was going to stop in there because I heard they have Anodyne roast but now, screw that.

Are there any other coffee pits that serve Anodyne?

I spoke with the Madison Police and they said the two conservatives that live in the area have alibies. They both were working.

Patrick is a good guy. I'm sure both tip jars are full.

Is it possible the joint was mistaken for a McDonalds? You know, the whole "you deserve a brick today" jingle stuff?

Right. Because they need help on that front.

If you're a modern-day Republican, you're either deliberately evil or spellbindingly stupid. Neither makes for a compelling bullet point on the ol' résumé.

We stopped by late this morning to have some coffee and stuff the tip jars (one for the window, one for the baristas). It was packed and very convivial.

It's been my experience that when there are two jars collecting money at the register(one for the staff and one for the "cause du jour"), the tip jar suffers. It still doesn't explain why the owner is asking for donations to fix the window when his business insurance covers the cost.

I'm not a modern day Republican and your hateful meanspirited comment does not deserve a response.

My son & I are fond of Patrick, he's good people. It's sad that this somehow had to happen but then he's also tough. So, wrong target folks.
