Depresssing DeSean Jackson was the 2nd receiver I picked up in our draft this year (Mike Wallace, also disappointing lately, was my first). Traded Jackson a couple weeks ago for Hamstrung Julio Jones.
I used to disagree with the many over scrutinizing pundits that said Jackson wasn't trying hard. I just thought Vick (until he got hurt) had better chemistry with Jeremy Maclin and that coverages were blanketing the deep threat Jackson. Now, and especially after last night's blowout loss, it's pretty obvious Jackson is playing with a stick up his ass. And maybe not just him. The Eagles look like a team in limbo. Will Andy Reid get fired? He's certainly won a lot of games but consistently failed to deliver a championship. Who could Philly hire that'd be able to turn their collection of high-priced talent into an actual team?
