So....you already KNEW the answer to your question before posting it? And your only reason to subsequently post was to continue to be a dick?

Wrong. You should read the news more.

A former spokeswoman for Gov. Scott Walker was granted immunity Thursday in connection with a Milwaukee County investigation that has led to criminal charges against six people close to Walker.

This is a long investigation at both the local and federal level. I don't expect any indictments until they are damn well ready to proceed and convict (if they can). I believe Mr. May, our city attorney, pointed out the reticence of the US Attorney's office to indict any incumbent politician immediately prior to an election. I assume that's due to the perception that the feds don't want to be viewed as meddling in a state's elections. Walker will have some time to worry, and prosecutors will have some time to get more info during our nice long warm summer months. Plenty of time here on our end:) Besides, they might be arguing over who gets his lying ass first.

According to government lawyers familiar with a Milwaukee criminal corruption probe, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is now a "target" of the investigation.

The legal sources, who are not involved in Wisconsin's recall, spoke on condition of anonymity. They said Walker faces "serious legal challenges," including "a possible indictment," regardless of the election results on Tuesday.

The sources indicate Walker's status was clarified more than a week ago, allegedly following a series of requests by Walker's legal team that prosecutors publicly clear him of any wrong doing before the recall election.

How much more than one week isn't clear.
So, given the date of the article (6/3), not "new" (since May 31).

If this clarification wasn't something "new", then it's possible that Walker was lying about not being a target.

Were you expecting something new?

How often have previous moves in this probe come?

Patience, grasshopper. He will be indicted soon enough (well, actually not soon enough).

Justice delayed is justice denied.

Well obviously if a Walker staffer isn't granted immunity every week or so, then the "investigation" isn't real. 13 is such a piddling little number.

Prosecutors says attorney for Doe defendant leaked information

Responding to claims they had leaked information on the John Doe investigation involving some of Gov. Scott Walker's aides, Milwaukee County prosecutors say two of the leaks came from attorneys for one of the defendants.

Michael Maistelman, a lawyer for defendant Timothy Russell, sent an email to radio talk show host Charlie Sykes on Jan. 22, tipping off Sykes to the likelihood that two other former Walker aides would be charged that week. Those aides, Darlene Wink and Kelly Rindfleisch, were charged four days later on Jan. 26.

Russell held jobs as Walker's deputy chief of staff and housing director while Walker was Milwaukee County executive. Wink was Walker's constituent services aide and Rindfleisch was a policy adviser and later a deputy chief of staff.

Sykes and other backers of the Republican governor have accused prosecutors of illegally leaking information on the Doe investigation, which was launched more than two years ago.

The noose just keeps getting tighter and tighter, doesn't it? You will surely be frogmarching him off to the penitentiary any day now.
