Question for Cornbread, Ned, etc.

Races for the Senate, U.S. House, etc. and other issues of national importance.

Heh. Yeah, but you know, you really shouldn't call them leftists just because they call you a winger wing nut right winger nut job and are always skulking up behind you and shouting, "ON YOU LEFT, RIGHTARD!!!"

Personally, I call them leftishes. They are not really leftists because even they don't believe all that ideological anti-market socialist utopian bullshit. And really, except for children and pets, who could?

I remember when it was global cooling and the new ice age.
Then the failed fantasy turned into global warming.
That failed, so now it's 'climate change', aka WEATHER. Didn't you get the memo from gore? I think he's a protege of margret sanger and her faux science novel silent spring.

Profit!

What do you have leftover after you pay all your bills? I hope nothing or you too would have profit.

My question for everyone here is simply this: why do you post here?

-Is it to persuade people who disagree with you?

-Is it to antagonize people who disagree with you?

-Is it to seek out productive conversation with people, regardless of dis-/agreement?

-Is it to derail productive conversations between people, regardless of your dis-/agreement with them?

-Is it to make people laugh?

-Is it to make people angry?

-Is it to make people leave?

If you can't answer this honest question by speaking -- without cynicism or sarcasm -- to your own motivations regardless of other peoples' actions, then you've failed the test.

-Is it to persuade people who disagree with you?
Some may, but mostly to show some there's another way of thinking and other sources of information out there.

-Is it to antagonize people who disagree with you?
Nope. That's kids stuff

-Is it to seek out productive conversation with people, regardless of dis-/agreement?
Yup--pick their brains, see what makes them tick, see who they are, what they're made of. And also, it often reaffirms my belief that liberalism is little more than an affluent cult, with all of those trappings.

-Is it to derail productive conversations between people, regardless of your dis-/agreement with them?
Nope.

-Is it to make people laugh?
I'm a naturally funny person, so I just have to be me. Sometimes my humor is sarcastic though.

-Is it to make people angry?
Nope. A lot of people are just very angry to begin with.
I do think a lot of leftists get angry when I turn around their own logic on them though. Not my problem they have logic traps in their worldview. Reversing the logic is one of the best ways I've found to check the validity of a position.

-Is it to make people leave?
Nope. Don't care.

Secondly, the term is used by everyone within the Republican Party all the way up to Boehner and McConnell, which tells me that it's a coordinated effort and it kind of boggles my mind that they'd bother coordinating such idiocy. So basically, every time someone says "Democrat Party" I'm reminded why I consider myself a Democrat.

I know its tempting to respond in kind, with childish taunts like Repiglicans, etc.But that would be stooping to their level.

When I hear 'Republican', I think of Watergate, Kent State, Iran Contra, and the clusterfuck War on Iraq. That name has a well-established brand. Why mess with failure?

I do because that's exactly what they are. They aren't democrats, I mean democratics--they're leftists. If a socialist were to actually get more than their 1% of votes and actually have a chance at winning something, the leftists would jump right on that candidacy, groping each other in mutual ecstasy. But there isn't any and there is no reason for there to be one as the leftists have taken over the democrat party.

And this is why people have been leaving the democrat party for a while now.

If "leftists" had taken over the Democratic Party, wouldn't Bernie Sanders be Majority Leader instead of an Independent?

The real divide in the country is between those who follow the "mainstream" media and people in touch with reality. If you still think "Fast and Furious" is a movie you missed the party.

He would, but he's the rep of a tiny, isolated state full of white people, I think all three thousand of them. :D So he has nothing to bring to any table in terms of running the machine.

Stu, you don't think the new democrat party is now ran by leftists?
I know every democrat before carter would be kicked out/shunned as being too conservative and when carter ran for prezzie, it was on him being a successful businessman.

Clinton's too much of a political creature to stray much from the center, but that's just because he has no ideology other than being himself. His wife though is a definite leftist, with her "takes a village to raise a child" and socialized medicine, and of course, "take [other people's] excess profits".

What's the biggest trip is the DNC is now the Chicago D Machine.
All things are ran out of chicago. It's interesting to watch the true (leftist) believers try and rationalize the machinations of the chicago democrat machine as they lie and obfuscate and try to shove their socialism down our throats.

Very interesting why our avowed socialist president would invoke 'executive privilege' for something they said was the former President's fault and doing. But I think a new memo went out saying retracting their usual "blame bush" tactic.

So much for transparency.....but they are consistent.

And I thought "sloganeering" was, according to Cornbread, a great sin of the lefse people? CB only uses about twelve different words in every post.

Leftists
Socialists
Union thug/thuggery
Chicago D machine
Zerobama
Bumpersticker
Third world Milwaukee

I believe it was Rachel Carson who wrote "Silent Spring."
