This is what a bronze statue of a football coach should look like:

A magnificent statue indeed but where's the bronze hot tub?

It would be wonderful if Barry Alvarez said, "I appreciate the honor, but statues of football coaches are a bad idea."

I imagine he is and was a bit uncomfortable with the statue, but doesn't want to insult the donors.

Having met him a few times I have to say no, he probably isn't uncomfortable with the statue at all.

I meant he wanted a larger one, and put on Bascom Hill in place of Abe Lincoln statue.

Fortunately someone decided it was best to depict him dressed.

There is more damaging evidence to come out and maybe more charges. Pennsylvania Attorney General Frank Fina explained it this way:

"We turned over transcripts of other potential victims and transcripts relating to the Penn State University and some of the potential events involving Penn State's connection with this case that I think would be highly sought by the media and that would not be in the best interests, again, of anybody, especially potentially ongoing matters to be disclosed," Fina said, according to the transcript.

The attorney general has not commented on who the ongoing investigation might be targeting.

Penn State will no longer be playing "Swee Caroline" during their home games. Their official position is that it has nothing to do with the lyrics.

Hands, touching hands, reaching out, touching me, touching you.

If that were the UW student body they would put on their Sandusky masks and just sing the dang song.

Is Penn St. a home game this year?

This should be in the "Worst possible song to get stuck in your head" thread.

Thanks a ton.

Jerry Sandusky is a "poor guy" according to a prominent Catholic priest, who says young boys often seduce older men and that first time pedophiles shouldn't go to jail.

Penn State will compensate abuse victims

“We certainly haven’t forgotten about Mr. Sandusky’s victims,” Erickson said. “We want to make sure that we do the right thing in terms of providing a just outcome for them.”
