Pillars AND a teleprompter. It's a two-fer!

Seriously, Ned, don't your handlers realize you're years behind in your Obama bashing? How is it you're still collecting a paycheck?

Christ, pull down the flocked wallpaper and find some new material.

I could have discussed the racism, cronyism, pandering to Islamofacists, complicity to the murder of a U.S. Ambassador, complicity to the murder of victims of Mexican gun lords with American weapons, complete bungling of the economy and misplaced priorities.

But I was trying to keep it light.

No, you've proven that you couldn't have "discussed" anything deeper than your idiotic Drudge/Hannity bullet points.

Professors concerned about Obama rally registration

Guess who one of the professors is? (Rhetorical question).

Watched the motorcade cruise by from the window of an x-ray room at 20 S Park. I could see the barricades going up as I sat in the waiting room, and when the x-ray tech called my name I resigned myself to missing the whole thing. But she was pretty interested in seeing it, too, so we opened the blinds (which, judging from the dust, had never been opened) and kept an eye out. Sure enough, between the finger x-ray and the foot x-ray the whole entourage swept by.

Definitely the most fun I've ever had getting an x-ray. The x-ray and I hugged when I left, having shared a cool little Democracy Moment.

Park St south of Regent was barricaded for maybe 20 minutes. By the time I got back downstairs, traffic was flowing as usual.

The article didn't point out (probably the reporter didn't know, and the profs didn't bring it up) that their buildings (Law and North Hall) are among the ones completely closed today. It's nice of them to be all concerned about the students' welfare, but I suspect they're mostly annoyed at their own personal inconvenience.

I listened briefly to the President's speach ehile driving in my car.

I loved the part where he pointed out the Romney would cut NPT and repeal Dodd-Frank. Then he stated that Romney thought the deficit was created not by unregulated Wall Street but Elmo on Sesame Street.

Something like:
He'll get rid of regulations on Wall Street, but he's going to crack down on Sesame Street.

We were leaving East Towne area and saw a huge copter kinda circling-- a few minutes later saw Air Force One ( one of two???) crossing the sky, and the other ?? (hubby says there's always 2) --around 10 minutes later. I waved and called my mom.

Agreed, I don't care who it is.

For today I'd like to rescind this.

You're telling me that the secret service cannot somehow safely take the potus down Packers Ave and Gorham? That they must bring the whole fucking central and eastern city to a standstill, twice, once in the middle of rush hour. And of course the route cannot be spoken of ahead of time so that people might be able to plan around it.

The plane flew over the house after I finally got home. I didn't even look up.
