Not surprised he works as a grunt lawyer for Michael Best ad nauseam...coincidence that his law firm is the most militant right wing outfit around?

It appears Jason Thompson has a history of this...

Also, Michael Best and Friedrich is a horrible, HORRIBLE firm. They're like something out of a Grisham novel. I am disgusted by them as they treated someone I love so awful. It tramatized the person...but that's for another thread. All I know is Jason Thompson fits right in with Michael Best and Friedrich.

Can we assume Jason Thompson feels terrible and is suffering because of all his birther remarks, or just the ones Gov. Thompson comments on specifically?

I hope Baldwin works this into their upcoming debate. It goes to Tommy's character as a father and a leader.

Bullshit
quick poll, how many people here agree with their parents 100% politically?

How many have never said anything (political or otherwise) that their parents would take exception too?

The dumb kid made a stupid joke in poor taste (and likely got a new one ripped by his old man). It doesn't make his dad a horrible person or poor father.

Actually this isn't the first time he said it.

Not because he thought it was a bad thing to say, just because it might wreck his political ambitions.

WHAT A DAD!

Hasn't it been well established in this thread that he works as an attorney at MBF? Hard to classify a corporate attorney as a "dumb kid."

He knew what he was doing, did it on purpose and the only thing he's likely sorry about is that he shot off his mouth in a public place where someone could have (and did) catch it on video.

Since we haven't heard from him directly, how do we know otherwise?

Who here believes he's sorry?

hence my first question. Even if Jason is a birther, it has no bearing on his father's views. Has TT ever made any comments supporting that view? It would have helped him in the primary if he had.

That's pure conjecture. My guess is probably both reasons.

Your opinion of a parents ability to control everything that comes out of their child's mouth is so noted.

It is definitely my opinion, but it's not about control. A good father knows he can't control everything that comes out of his kid's mouth. So he spends that first decade setting an example and instilling a sense of values.

It is my considered opinion that he failed miserably on both counts.

Or more properly, he succeeded at instilling his own values upon his son but forgot to teach him how to fake the other ones. Failure, either way you look at it.

Jason is working on his old man's campaign and has made similar comments more than once. He didn't just go rogue.

So in your opinion, what does the fact that Gwen Moore's child was guilty of slashing the tires of vehicles to be used by her political opponents for transportation to the polls on election day say about her character as a mother and leader?

Says she's a bad parent and I wouldn't vote for her.

What were you expecting me to say? Jeez.
