Looking for a little BLUNT?

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here

Looking for a little BLUNT?

Postby blunt » Thu Oct 18, 2012 8:03 pm

I'm back.
Some of you won your bet.
But I am a kinder, gentler Blunt.
I checked the archives and find most of my old posts kind of embarrassing.

The period of time wherewithin I was constantly foaming at the mouth and criticizing Isthmus was when I felt snubbed by jjoyce (every POST was a pitch; my whole LIFE is a performance audition), lost everything TWICE in two home floods, my mom was dying (which is why I went back to Spokane) but pretty much mostly because ephedrine was still legal. I have calmed down a little since then.

Of course, I still think Isthmus should give me a weekly column but I won't rant angrily about it anymore. I still hate REM for fooling kids into thinking country was cool and stealing two songs from me: "End of the World" and "Kenneth, What's the Frequency." I still find the Go Go's overrated but can't believe how worked up I got about it. And I'm not even annoyed with ProfWags or BookPolice anymore.

I am back to being calm and chemically balanced.
There will be no more exclamation points.

You may have wondered why I wasn't posting here anymore.
Since I can only observe what I see and my perspective is the one I have easiest access to, it went with me when I moved back to the mighty Pacific Northwest. But I am coming back.

Spokane is over for me. I do not like it. I never did. Now I want more than anything to return to Madison, my true home. I miss it and you all with an unresolved passion. I am trying with all my might to somehow scrape enough money to come back.

If any of you want to help, send me one or a thousand dollars to headpump@yahoo.com Use PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/send-money-online
It would be fun and I would like you.
I promise any contributions will be used for the trip and not drugs or drink.

Until then: hello again.

A few things I really miss, along with the fresh herd of nubile fleshbuckets that show up for school each year:

BEST PLACES TO FEEL DIZZY
1) Spinning round round like a record round whilst gazing upwards smack dab in the center of the Capitol dome.

2) Traversing the sidewalk on the Mifflin side of the Central library: the walls boast a yoni/lingual alternating innie/outie brick milieu that induces spontaneous architectural samadhi in passersby attuned to such things.

3) The corner of West Wash and Broom where the exotic spices of the undulating serpents of our subtle spinal currents interweave and meet within my nose, the source of this essence wafting from within the Maharani. I walk by and often fall prostate from the sheer inability to handle the charge of such divine nectar trapped in just this one singularly humble fleshbucket.

4) I was going to mention that all-time great two-person spinning carrousel thingee at that park between Atwood and Winnebago on Rusk.....but which, like everything else we used to love to learn to play on, has been removed forever.

But would you be willing to do a photo op with Meed? (Or Need, or Bleed, or whatever its name is?)

Be careful hanging or spinning around the Capitol Dome. There's a new sheriff in town. And he don't bode for any of those hippy First Amendment Freedoms.

Sure. As long as it includes a bear rug and a crackling fire.

Aw! I didn't know you were annoyed with me.

But I share your wincing perspective on my old Forum posts. I'm not going back and deleting 'em or anything, but yeah. Awkward.

Anyway, glad you're back. Digitally.

I think I'm experiencing a flashback or maybe it's hot flashes.

It wasn't a drone, actually, but was self-inflicted: pants on fire.
