I was curious, and checked out freerepublic. Holy shit, are there some crazy bastards on there. One poster was extremely upset because Fox News is in the tank for Obama. Wow.

A good night for Democratic women named Tammy.

Tammy Baldwin in the Senate, and the excellent Tammy Duckworth defeats loathsome Teaper Joe Walsh in a high-profile House race.

Worth noting that nobody but Fox appears to have called the race for Tammy as yet.

Y'all putting stock in Fox for the first time in your lives or would you care to come back to the fold for another hour or so?

Hoping they've got the inside skinny, but just sayin' ...

I hear ya. I only cited them because, of all outlets, why would FOX call it for her so soon? Some screwy agenda, no doubt.

However, she's managed to pull even at this point, and we have the cities yet to report. TammyTrade well above 90%.

A lot of the outstanding votes are from Milwaukee and Dane. I think they're calling the race based on exit polling and general demographics.

I was going by RealClearPolitics, who have called it for Tammy. But maybe they're just plagiarizing Fox.

In that case, I'll hold off before celebrating.

He's a loathesome Teaper alright, but he's part of a trend, and it's not just about the Tea Party. I think this election makes a statement about Citizens' United as well. For all of the money they poured into these races, they saw very little success. Anywhere.

I waded through those waters a little as well. If the freepers could blink Chris Christie out of existence like the Twilight Zone kid, he would be long gone. They are beyond ideology, the only thing that matters is unswerving loyalty to the red team. I wonder how they will treat him in a couple years, when he will likely still be the front-runner for the GOP in 2016.

And, to be fair, I don't consider Bludgeon to be cut from freeper cloth, and I mean that as a compliment, Bludgeon, if it isn't obvious.

RealClearPolitics has called Ohio for Obama -- and the Presidency, too, obviously. Right now they have Obama at 275 electoral votes, hopefully even more on the way.

Well I'm 50/50 on my predictions. Looks like it will be Tammy with the comfortable margin.

Wisconsin is so odd.

Oh, I get it. I just can't pass up a comment on the irony of a bunch of Fox detractors celebrating their early call of that race.

Hey, whoa there. I had no idea Fox had called the race; I was just going by RealClearPolitics.
