Ha. Funny but a couple like that makes sense. What does not make sense is this:

Petraeus is one of the fittest guys on the planet. It seems fitness is not a priority with his wife.

This should not be a big surprise:

Deal with it, libs.

I guess I'll have to. Since Obama won the election only because we, the uninformed electorate, were unable to grasp the ugly math, perhaps the Republicans will be able to use their hundreds of millions of dollars to finally get the word out this time.

Maybe THIS time they'll be able to get through to us. Because we are, after all, uninformed and not very good at math.

But not stupid. Ask bdog. We're just uninformed. And since the information is right there in front of us, free for the reading, we must have reading comprehension problems too.

So we're a little slow at reading, bad with math, and don't have the information that we needed to make the right decision. Maybe the Republicans can fix that in the next four years.

Well Rabble I don't think you're so stupid.

Why don't you explain the ugly math for us without looking it up?

You do realize you can argue that an informed electorate is more likely to vote Democrat right?

Anyway, funny pic of Judge and Mrs. Thomas!

Exactly! Meade and I can't for the life of us see what Snoqueen claims to see.

As long as no one offers Justice Thomas any wafer-thin mints during the next four years, everything will be just fine.

Better. Better get a bucket!

They sure do like cake.

On the one hand, Obama won despite the millions upon millions the Koch machine threw at him.

On the other, the CIA chief got caught in an affair.

We better talk about that instead of the fact that Obama won, or any court seats he might have to fill.

No problem. Since the 70's, the nation's wealth has been redistributed so that the very rich have most of it, and they don't want to give any of it up. In fact they want more and the Republicans are trying their damnedest to give it to them.

There you go. It's ugly, but you have to face it sooner or later.

Hey Rabs you might have something here...

Need to find out if there is an Intrade for "Clarence Thomas vapor locking before end of President Obama's 2nd term"

Sounds like a completely valid assumption.

Ah yes, he leaves his wife at home to care for the kids while he's off banging some young athletic ho. So it makes sense that we should make fun of his wife's level of fitness. Good call.

Or maybe it's his wife's fault, I mean just look at her. What dude wouldn't start looking at some nice piece of trim. It's totally ok of him to do that, I mean who wouldn't?

Oh yeah, and the sanctity of heterosexual marriage means we have to fight allowing teh gays to marry with every fiber of our beings.

Nary a word from you Steve about people making fun of the Thomases fitness level.

Were you cheated on Steve? Is that it?

I think it's natural for men to go for younger women once their wives fall out of shape.

Okay, I see your point.

We better talk about how racist it is to talk about the fitness level of Clarence Thomas.

Wait a sec there, dog.

Making fun of fat people is a tradition that we, your fellow conservatives, hold dear.

Have you ever seen some of the stuff Ned posted about Michael Moore? It's pure comedy gold!

And just a week or so, Rush was lambasting Chris Christie for being fat too.

If you're going to call out this site's leftists for doing it, just be sure to point out that it's still OK for conservatives to do it.

Actually, you are right. I should have called out rabble for making fun of the Thomases weight. There's much that is odious about their beliefs and actions, but dragging their physiques into it is just childish.

Ok I apologize then Steve. You too Rabble.

I was going to keep this thread going forever (much like Paterno coaching) because I knew how much people hated it.

But your honest response has made me see the light. I will make another attempt to get along.

I think I'll just post to the Kenneth Burns threads for a while.

Okay. First, I'd like to hear bdog say that it isn't racist to say that Clarence Thomas is a good candidate for a heart attack.

I know Meade would never ever say it, but bdog might admit that while the discussion might not be in the best of taste, it ain't racist. He hasn't said so one way or the other but Meade is acting like bdog is his personal confirmation of relevance.

Then I'll think about leaving it alone.
