I wonder if the Library Mall is going to be a perpetual construction site.

I think I can count on a shop teacher's hand how many times I've traveled Gorham, from Baldwin to University, in the last couple of years without encountering a closed lane or a trash truck.

Never a problem on E Johnson.

Stop in the name of all that is holy.
Stop trying to argue with me.
Stop putting down my friends and family.

You see, I have learned how to let people be wrong. I know enough to let you think whatever the HE-"double hockey sticks" you want.

It’s all about how you translate it.

And don’t call me a "HO" to my face. And don’t say something that means something else, thinking I won’t get it. I dodo get it; and remember, I’m an HSP, so I won’t ever forget what you said or your stupid hand gestures.

Leaf me alone. I am not going to argue with you. It’s not worth it.

Who’s Lost in Translation now?

Charlotte: I just don't know what I'm supposed to be.
Bob: You'll figure that out. The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you.

Done, done, and dunner.

Here's to closing out a toxic day on the forum. (gulp)

The channel3000 weather page is showing seven sunny days in a row with temps climbing back to the 50's. So we got that going for us..

I don't know if this is a random thought or a random report, but I saw some road kill next to Atwood Ave along Olbrich Park yesterday and when I got closer I realized it was a beaver. Its flat paddle tail couldn't have belonged to any other animal. It was a soft golden-tan and looked about the size of a twenty pound dog -- much bigger and lighter in color than a muskrat. Today it had been removed.

I also saw a road-killed beaver last weekend on I-94 on the way to Milwaukee. We saw several unusual specimens along the way, including what appeared to be a small bear, a couple of cats and a gigantic raccoon. Only two deer, which seemed unusual.

One of the Starkweather Creek beavers no doubt. They've been back there for years.

Continuing the roadkill report, I saw what I think was (literally) a fox on Northport this morning. I guess it could of been a domestic dog but I prefer to think it was a fox. I'm not sure why that makes it better in my mind..

Also, I noticed a large tent colony has popped up in the wooded area to the right of sanitarium hill on Northport. That whole area is considered a county park. I'm assuming it's the folks from occupy E Wash but I didn't hear anything about them moving there. Seems close to nothing that they need.

Many people have reported seeing a fox family on the old Royster property. I don't know if they're gone since the demolition project started, or are still living on the undisturbed west end of the land.

Last winter I watched a fox tear apart my neighbors chicken in my garden. The whole time an owl was on an electrical wire above the incident never letting an eye off the encounter. I watched in awe as though it were a wild kingdom episode.

I saw him again. The middle-aged Asian guy, standing at an east side bus stop with nothing but a tennis racket. No cover on the racket, no balls to be seen. I think he's keeping his hair shorter.

Over the summer I had seen him a couple of times standing with his head down, a very dejected look on his face, racket dropped to his side almost scraping on the ground. But today he looked happier, or at least more alert and focused, the racket held up with a firm grip.

I think maybe he's found his game.

Every time I go in a store, this same song is playing. Where I am right now, it is playing again. The words seem to go "tastes like little spiders."

Over and over. The rest is mostly some oom-dadadadada words.

Would someone please tell me what this is about. TIA
