Food products I don't use.

Grocery stores, recipes, cook books, CSAs, farmers' markets, organic, local, processed, corporate. It's a smorgabord!

Come on! Its not even a little funny? I'm lambasted for posting in the beyond meat thread, and when I transition to this thread i"m also lambasted? Give a tail-eater a break.

That stuff is crap though

I also don't use boxed microwave dinners of any sort.

I was in the local Megalo-Mart the other day, idly staring at the boxes of microwave-ready mashed potatoes in the cooler and thinking "who would buy that? Is it that hard to mash your own potatoes?" Right at that moment, a woman swept in with her cart, and loaded up with a half-dozen boxes, and swept out again.

I keep thinking that I missed an opportunity there, but I'm not sure for what.

Yes. We get it. You're the Jack LaLanne of the Daily Page. Your profound ability to not eat stuff and then be a self-righteous, pedantic ass about it is eminently admirable.

What's your definition of fast food. I've gone to many Indian buffets where I have gotten my food as fast as McDonalds.

Blerf, you really are an ass.

I'm a fat, lazy bastard but I do have some value, is fast food right for me?

Do you eat spell checkers, dyslexic teachers, or both?

This sounds pretty existential and should probably be answered by a food therapist. However, I should mention that Taco Pizza is actually pretty gross.

Look I didn't come here to be an ass, but when I'm treated to things like this:

then I am going to come up with some snarky ass remark. Of course, I do not believe anybody is worthless, and one of the skinniest, hardest working people I know basically lives off of fast food. Before this comment I was simply making an argument, being neither self-righteous nor a pedantic ass, and I've gotten nothing but attacks instead of engaging conversation. No wonder TDPF has been going downhill; there's no room for newcomers.

What's with all the definition requests around here. Is 'fast food' really that ambiguous.

ahhh, you got me good on that one. way to point out a spelling error.

And as to not entirely derail this thread, I also don't eat marshmallows. Its not that I actively avoid them, I just have no use for them and don't find them very delicious.

For anyone wanting to know about marshmallows, see Althaea officinalis.

Isn't Althea a most beautiful name?

I don't get buying packaged crumbs. Every time I see those, I imagine some food company executives rolling on the floor laughing.

I don't think I'd be able to make panko crumbs on my own.
