I think that, starting next Monday, all other threads should be locked and all discussion of everything and/or nothing should move to the alliterative thread linked above (which could be appropriately renamed "THE everything thread"). This forum isn't just about everything/nothing, so all discussion of everything/nothing should be confined to one thread.

It might not be "worst ever" but it's certainly a reasonable facsimile.

It's got Ned AND Sandi AND Meade on just the first page. That's a trifecta of dumb right there.

Plus, on the second page Meade is now channeling Carol. Except where Carol would crash around like an angry bull in a nice Unitarian china shoppe, Meade diffidently covers himself with the fig leaf of "I'm not actually calling you a Nazi, but ..." before bringing out the Public Health Is Nazi line. Somewhere, in some alternate plane of existence, Carol is fulminating at Meade's cowardice.

It would worry me more if those stuck on stupid spoke well of me.

Worst ever?

I don't know about "worst ever".

Certainly bad enough to make one wish this forum had some competent moderation.

Kurt, you apparently willfully misunderstand. It isn't that public health is nazi. It's that so many German folks abdicated their individual freedoms and moral responsibilities to a government which happened to be nazi that said to them this is for the general welfare of the German socialist nation.

So it doesn't really matter whether wack wack believes that Bloomberg's decision is economic or a public health issue, does it? wack wack - along with around 47% of the electorate - just wants government to take control of a perceived problem and fix it so that he and they will feel better.

I think Jason deserves a lot of credit for turning that terrible thread into something rather entertaining, though with Ned Flanders being one of the greatest posters of all time, one would think he could have done it on his own.

Nope, you got that wrong too. I don't support Bloomberg's bans, any of them. But feel free to pull forward the quotes in which you think I support them.

The problem isn't what I believe, but what you think you know about economic vs. social issues.
