It's working!

Wisconsin falls to 44th in private-sector job creation

And this comes from Walker's preferred data source:

Wisconsin ranked 44 out of the 50 states in private-sector job creation, according to the latest available government jobs data deemed credible by economists.

The data, which covers the 12 months from September 2011 to September 2012, shows that Wisconsin's position deteriorated progressively from a rank of 42 out of 50 in the previous 12-month period through June 2012; and from a rank of 37 in the 12 months through March 2012.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released the data Thursday. The data, called the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, is based on a census of 96% of all American non-farm employers, public and private, which makes it the most exhaustive and credible information available on job creation. Because it is so complete, the data always comes with a half-year time lag.

Quarterly census data is far more accurate than monthly state-level employment data, which is based on sketchy samples of less than 3.5% of Wisconsin's employers on any given month, and then extrapolated across the entire state. That small sample magnifies anomalies and creates statistical distortion in the monthly numbers. The U.S. government later uses the quarterly census data retroactively to revise the monthly data.

SHOCKING NEWS UPDATE!!! Scott Walker Blames the Protests

Asked Thursday about new numbers showing Wisconsin lagging in job growth, Gov. Scott Walker pointed to the uncertainty he said business owners felt because of the political tumult that rocked Wisconsin early in his term.

Meanwhile, his critics said the governor's policies had created a drag on growth.

"The first year we had a lot of protests in the state," Walker said, during an appearance in Milwaukee to promote business growth in the city. "We had two years, almost, worth of recalls. A lot of employers here I think can relate to the fact (that) uncertainty is one of the biggest challenges for employers big or small or anywhere in between. There was a lot of uncertainty. The good news is that's passed."

Shocking...

Has he ever asked himself what little thing happened just before those protests that could have set them off?

Or was it a random event, like an asteroid passing by?

Unfortunately, the last laugh will be on the citizenry of Wisconsin if this tool gets re-elected. Anyone have his latest approval rating numbers?

I think we're already way past the "last laugh" point. That anyone still supports what Walker & Co. are up to stopped being funny a loooooong time ago.

The little darlings didn't get their way.
