If anyone caught the Gold Cup game between the US and Belize, it was a pretty big blow out, as was expected.
Aparently before the game some match fixer tried to convince a few key belize defenders to let it be an even bigger blow out. These guys bearly make any money on their national team, and all they had to do was let it be a slightly bigger blow out. Instead they said no and responsibly reported the incident. The very idea of not trying their hardest while representing their nation was abhorent to them.
No real point, I just thought it was a very cool story about an underdog team in the Gold Cup tourney showing thier character.
