See, Henry won't answer the question: what do you think about the recent numbers? You post all the bad numbers as proof that Walker's plan is not working. Isn't this proof that it is working?

Your turn Henry. For once, say something.

Okay Hawk since Henry refuses to talk about the numbers, I will have to agree with you. Henry is not evil and since he posted the article he is finally acknowledging that Walker is making progress toward the goal.

Without the albatross of a money losing high speed rail system around the State's neck. Imagine that, Henry showcases something good that Scott Walker did. Pigs. Flying.

Since Walker took office, some months there was growth but overall we are way behind other states. One month of job growth doesn't make up for the slow progress so far. Walker is way behind in his prediction. At this rate, his dream of a quarter million new jobs is a nightmare.

Now can to make your own comments about that? Or do you want to just continue to obfuscate ala Meade?

Oh I agree he's behind schedule but it is wonderful that the latest numbers show progress towards the goal. Thank you for pointing that out. It is good for Scott Walker and good for Wisconsin.

Who is Meade?

Never get excited about the June numbers because of the tourism hiring and never get excited about the Nov/Dec holiday hiring. They don't last and while they may indicate an upturn in the economy they don't necessarily reflect an uptick in current permanent employment. You have to wait until January to see who is still on board.

The headline from the link above:
Gov Scott Walker gives leader of jobs agency a 50 percent pay raise after Wisconsin sank to 49th in job growth

That is scary to read. Walker once again shows that he is incompetent. If the Democrats can't make hay with this they are horrible.

Walker's approval rating drops below 50 percent

His poor performance in job growth probably has something to do with it.

So if jobs are what is hurting Walker, what explains why Obama is doing even worse in the same poll?

I though someone like Sandi or Ned would be the first one to say "but look over there."

Not saying look over there, I'm just curious why you think this poll is anything to get excited about. Obama is actually doing worse nationally then he is in Wisconsin, and even here he's doing worse then the governor roughly half the state supposedly hates.

I guess you just never struck me as a glass is half full type.

Obama isn't goihg to run for office again. Hopefully the same thing for Walker.

But start a thread about Obama's popularity, if you want to.

Think that is covered already, but then this one is about jobs, not Walkers popularity.

And the fact that the leader of the Democratic party is doing worse here and nation wide still has election ramifications even if he isn't running for anything. Obama also wasn't running for anything in 2010, but he still managed to lose big time.

Meanwhile you're excited that the asshole in the governors mansion has slipped bellow %50 approval rating, which won't mean shit if the Democrats can't come up with a candidate who actually knows how to win a campaign.

So I guess you'll have to excuse me if I think crowing about Walker's failing popularity when he's doing better then Obama strikes me as myopic at best. Who do you think is going to benefit from Obama getting a midterm spanking (again)?
