Pack predictions for Sunday

Postby minicat » Thu Dec 26, 2013 11:18 am

So, will anyone be watching the as the 2013 NFC North incompetence-off finally concludes on Sunday? Perhaps a better question is will anyone NOT be watching? It's a grudge match vs. dabearsss, the team responsible for breaking quarterback Aaron Rodgers some weeks back and messing up the Packers roll to the division title.

It's already been announced that Clay Matthews is out. Eddie Lacy and Rodgers himself are still question marks for Sunday.

Will the Packers get revenge? Will dabearsss make Packers fans hate them even more, if that's even possible?

Well I think the Bears did everything they could to make it look like they couldn't win with that loss last week. I would think a healthy Lacy could go for 150 on that D easily. Still CHI has two big receivers and I'm not sure we can cover one of them.

Yeah, wow, a battle for the right to lose another home game to the 49ers. If it were any other team but da Bearss, I'd say we'd win by losing.

Pack 27, Bearss 26.

Is there any mechanism for the NFC north berth to be ceded to a team that actually deserves to be in the playoffs?

I hear the Bears have a plan. Add Rodgers to the hit list and after he throws a pass sneak up behind him and slam him down on his shoulder.

I don't care if they lose in the first round at home. Because it will still mean that they knocked the bears out of the playoffs. That will be enough for me at this point. It will be extremely funny if Rodgers misses almost half the season and the bears and lions still can't wrest the div. title away from the Packers. At least the Packers have an excuse for their mediocre play.

Did I mention that my boss is a bears fan?

This is what I'm afraid of, frankly.

You mean they're going with the Charles Martin/Forrest Gregg gambit from 1986? Not under Trestman!

Yes, his type of injury is usually a 12 week heal. It is an interesting decision based on the fact that Flynn could probably put 350 yards and 4 touchdowns, and Lacy could run for another 250 yards against the worst Bears defense ever.

Aaron Rodgers will be rusty. The Bears really, really want revenge for the NFC championship loss at Soldier Field in 2011. Chicago will be outraged at the number of Bears fans who sell their tickets. Eddie Lacy will keep the Packers in the game until the end. Cutler will throw a pick six to ice the game.

Since this has nothing to do with biking, it should be under the I-don't-give-a-sheet thread. I just don't see the connection to biking.

(I'm giving the bookbinders a 12-point margin.)

Since the topic also includes sports I think you should give it up. Take it up with admin outside the forum
