Only Lux Interior and Poison Ivy get to wear leather.

aren't chaps assless by definition? i mean, if they had an ass, wouldn't they just be big leather pants?

or am i missing something?

back on topic, i generally vote no on leather clothing, although i used to have a leather bra years ago that made me look like wendy freaking o.

"Assless" Chaps IMO suggests no Blue jeans, ie: Spandex or Nothing at all! Kinda amusing if you are Motley Crue or a younger David Lee Roth...

for some reason it all works for diamond dave - the fur shirt and assless chaps (you're supposed to say 'assless' not only because it's true but because it's fuckin' funny to say 'assless chaps'). rock star.

A friend of mine suggested "chaps" is actually the acronym for Cheek-Hangin' Assless Pants.

Word. I'd have some major burns and scars on my leg and ass if I hadn't been wearing leather pants while riding up Page Mill Road in Palo Alto about 10 years ago. I was chasing a Ducati, come to think of it...

It wasn't anywhere close to triple digits, but I still slid for quite a ways.

Otherwise, leather pants on women can look ok, but it sure isn't a kink of mine.

I used to have quite the prepubescent crush on Diamond Dave, along with Han Solo, Wolverine and Lion-O. They were all super heroes to me - though I think Roth's only mutant powers were the ability to look hot wearing an abundance of tassels and kicking over his head.

< /swoon >

I was raised by bikers, so chaps and leather pants are more familiar to me than khakis or jeans. I have two pair of pinstripe suede pants that I'm relatively fond of, though I rarely wear them. I don't know - you go to admire clothes that are so easy to clean up, though. Plether, vinyl, etc - just use a little Windex, and there goes the evidence.

If only Ms. Lewinsky got the memo...

I think you have to ask yourself a few serious questions before wearing leather pants:

1) Am I wearing these for safety, or style?
2) If for style, do I employ a stylist or have anyone whose sole responsibility is to tell me whether I look ridiculous?

I think you can get away with if it's either strictly for safety, or you look really hot.

I've never owned leather pants, but I do own several vinyl faux-leather pairs. And my ass looks fucking good in them.

The answer is a resounding yes. I support them unironically and wholeheartedly, Samiam, even on big sweaty dudes.

Maybe Diamond Dave's ass won't be chapped, but I bet his cock and balls will be...

Yo, Jammy, we practicing tonight? I think my whips and saddle are at the cleaners, but we can just pretend.

That's funny, dude. But it's not hard to imagine you standing in front of a mirror checking out your own ass before a show, Mikey. Making sexy faces at yourself and shit...
