What are you having? I guess it is peanut butter and honey again for me today, it isn't that I don't like it its just that I'm sick of it but it only takes about two seconds to make so I'm stuck with it. Any suggestions? And by the way I don't like jelly.

peanut butter and banana on wheat is pretty good too.

have you ever tried creamcheese, salsa, sunflowerseeds and sprouts on a heavy whole grain?

I probably won't eat lunch today. funds are low and belt is tight

I know that feeling-- today I am eating the premade Kitchens of India black gram lentil curry with brown rice. It's a frequent choice. around $3, and usually good for 2 lunch portions.

plus quite yummy/healthy.

Funny I just had falafel for dinner tonight and I was thinking I could use the leftover cuke, onion, and tomato with hummus in a sammy tomorrow, you see it is already cut.

I just looked at my peanut butter and honey today, I couldn't bring myself to eat it.

Triscuits with slices of turkey pepperoni, cheddar cheese and jalapeño in a toaster oven. 400 degrees for two minutes or so. Yummy.

Smoked sardine on Rosemary Triscuits.

or

Chive cream cheese on Rosemary Triscuits

The crackers being a very nice addition to my pantry.

Today for lunch, leftover pasta was eaten after 1 min zap in the microwave. This was an improvement over eating some cold for breakfast on Sunday.

I'm also a big fan of Triscuits. Though some of the flavored ones contain MSG. Had no idea.

Doesn't anyone eat lunch around these parts anymore?

Smoked chicken salad sandwich with pickled grapes. Holy crap was that good. I'm going to have to eat that for lunch again tomorrow, with the smoked chicken corn chowder I'm making tonight.

I rarely have sandwiches when dining out because nobody has decent bread. That's the foundation, Bub! No matter what the filling, a sandwich is no stronger than its bread.

There was a recent sandwich shop review in the Isthmus where the bread was mentioned zero times. C'mon! Bread is the soul of a sandwich.
