Local discourse threatened?

I don't think so, but punters of comment at mad.com DO NOT hold a candle so bright as those here. I suppose that this too shall pass, but I will continue to enjoy this discourse while I can.

The sooner you stop reading comments after news stories, videos, etc, the sooner you'll have a better view of your fellow human beings.

Yes, and here it comes:

Local Discourse, you better straighten up and fly right or I swear to God I will come over there and stick my foot so far up your ass it will come out of your mouth! You hear me? I mean it this time!

The greatest threat to local discourse of which I am aware are your impossible-to-penetrate posts.

If local discourse had a texture, would it be smooth like the inky black of deep space, or ciliated like the inner lining of the gut?

Or, to put it in the words of Raymond Stantz,

Listen! ... Do you smell something?

Anyone know who the aptly-named Bland was referring to? One couldn't tell from its post.

I'm pretty sure Bland was referring to the OP.

No, not Ocean Pacific.

Yes, I was responding to the question posed by in the thead title by the OP.

I am sorry my posts and screen name are so dull but at least they make sense. Mad Howler is a perpetual source of nonsensical frustration to me.
