A medal for flying a drone.

What in the bloody hell were they thinking?
Yeah, recognition for doing a good job of flying a radio controlled airplane while you sit in a bunker somewhere, that's good.

I just have to wonder how many people signed off on giving it a higher rank than the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

I kinda thought the whole idea of those kinds of medals was how much we appreciate that you went out where people were trying to kill you to get the job done. Getting the job done without the getting killed part ain't quite the same thing, even if you're really really good at it.

For once I'm in agreement with the American Legion. Just floating the idea was an insult to a whole lot of brave people.

Nevertheless, the drone state will find many eager pilots among Murkan youth.

I actually agree with Rabble. It was a bad idea and got what it deserved. Valor is reserved for those who actually sacrificed. Regardless of what anyone thought of the conflicts, it has nothing to do with those who served in harms way. They did not make the decisions to go to war. They only paid the price for it....
